CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police found a suspicious-looking car abandoned in Bulakan, Bulacan, on Sunday (July 21) morning.
The discovery was made a day before the State of the Nation Address of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
A report reaching Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Central Luzon regional police director, stated that the abandoned car was a white Hyundai Tucson with license plate NBF 9487, found in Barangay Taliptip in the said town.
Initial investigations showed that Barangay Taliptip Kagawad Claro Agustin reported to the local police that the car had been parked along the road in the barangay since July 16 and was considered abandoned.
The local police coordinated with the Bulacan Highway Patrol Group for verification and issued a flash alarm for the vehicle. They also requested explosive and ordnance operatives to secure the area against any threats, while scene-of-the-crime operatives were sought for proper disposition.
