Police nab 17 drug suspects, seize over P200k worth of shabu in Bulacan

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Bulacan police operatives arrested 17 suspects in a two-day anti-drug operation, seizing illegal drugs worth a total of P252,756.
According to reports received by Col. Satur Ediong, Bulacan police director, the operations took place on November 12 and 13.
On November 12, approximately 20 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P136,000, were confiscated from two suspects in Barangay Bagong Buhay 1, City of San Jose del Monte.

The following day, a suspect known as “alias Atan” was arrested during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion, Guiguinto town, leading to the seizure of approximately 7.15 grams of suspected shabu worth P48,600.
Additionally, 13 more suspects were arrested in separate anti-drug operations by station drug enforcement units from the Meycauayan, Balagtas, Marilao, Plaridel, San Miguel, and Sta. Maria City police stations. These operations led to the confiscation of 31 sachets of suspected shabu worth P68,156, along with marked money.
