Police nabs 2 drug suspects with P500k worth of shabu, gun in Pampanga

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Two drug suspects, who were also allegedly involved in gunrunning, were arrested with almost P500,000 worth of suspected shabu and a gun on Saturday (June 6) in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

Reports reaching Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., regional police director of Central Luzon, said the two suspects identified only as alias Pakyaw and alias Jess were arrested in a police operation in Barangay Sindalan in the said city.

Police recovered from their possessionsapproximately 70 grams of suspected shabu worth P476,000.00 and a 9mm caliber gun loaded with six live ammunition.

The two are now facing charges for Violation of Section 5 & 11 of R.A. 9165 and R.A. 10591.
