Police seizes 10 kg of suspected marijuana fruiting tops in Olongapo City

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga—Police confiscated approximately 10 kilograms of suspected dried marijuana fruiting tops and arrested two suspects in a sting operation in Olongapo City early yesterday, October 8.

The two suspects were apprehended around 4:50 AM along Clark Street in Barangay Sta. Rita, Olongapo City.

Authorities seized one zip-locked bag containing 10 bricks of suspected dried marijuana fruiting tops, weighing around 10 kilograms, with an estimated street value of P1,500,000. Additionally, the police recovered P1,000 in marked money.

The suspects are now facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165.
