Police seizes P1.8 M worth of shabu from HVI drug suspect in Bulacan

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga –A drug suspect considered as a high-value individual (HVI) with more than P1,800,000 worth of suspected shabu was arrested in a drug sting in Bulacan late Sunday afternoon.
Reports reaching Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Central Luzon regional police director, identified the HVI as alias Choco, a 51-year-old businessman from City of San Jose Del Monte, was entrapped and arrested around 5:55 pm in Barangay Pio Cruzcosa, Calumpit town
Police operatives seized from the suspect eight plastic bags of suspected shabu weighing approximately 270 grams with a standard drug price of 1,836,000 and the marked money.
The suspect is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 while police are still conducting investigations on any potential connections of the suspect in his illegal drug trade activities.
