Region 3 Police procures life vests, hard hats for disaster response

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – The Central Luzon Police Office has procured life vests and hard hats to bolster its disaster response capabilities.

A total of 440 life vests and 440 ABS hard hats were financed through the regional police office’s contingency fund amounting to P404,000.

These disaster response gears were distributed on Monday (August 5) to the police provincial offices in Bataan, Bulacan, and Pampanga.

Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Central Luzon regional police director, said, “It is crucial to continually upgrade our gear to enhance our disaster response capabilities.”

He added that the emergency response gear ensures that their personnel are better prepared to respond to natural disasters to safeguard the lives and properties in the affected communities.
