Show-cause orders for Bulacan for 2023 BSKE rising, PNP all set
Mon Lazaro October 28, 2023 at 03:11 PMCITY OF MALOLOS — The number of show-cause orders for campaign violations of the candidates of 2023 Barangay and Sanguniang Kabataan (BSKE) in Bulacan is rising.
Bulacan Provincial Election Supervisor Atty. Mona Ann Aldana-Campos has confirmed to ARKIPELAGO NEWS BULACAN that the number of show-cause orders for the 2023 BSKE in the province has already risen to 600.
She added that no barangay in Bulacan has been placed under the Comelec watchlist areas.
She added that a simultaneous Oplan Baklas was conducted in Bulacan on Friday (October 27) and that they are conducting an inventory on the number of posters/streamers that were removed during the operations.
Meanwhile, the Bulacan Police Provincial Office is all set for a smooth and secure election process with just three days until the much-awaited electoral event on October 30.
To ensure the effective and efficient provision of security coverage, the Bulacan Police has deployed 1,889 operatives all around the province.
Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police director, said they have worked diligently to create a secure environment for the forthcoming election and added the police force has meticulously planned and coordinated their efforts with various stakeholders to guarantee a peaceful and orderly voting process.
