Mon Lazaro August 24, 2024 at 01:34 PMCITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — A total of 191,807 Grade 10 students from 1,464 public and private schools in Central Luzon recently took the National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE).
The Department of Education (DepEd) Region 3 Office reported that the examination was conducted from August 12-16 across various schools in the region.
The administration of the NCAE for School Year 2024-2025 was in accordance with DepEd Order (DO) No. 55, s. 2016, also known as the Policy Guidelines on the National Assessment of Student Learning for the K to 12 Basic Education Program.
The NCAE is designed to guide individual learners in making future educational and career choices. It also serves as a basis for profiling students’ aptitude in the four Senior High School (SHS) Tracks: Academic, Technical-Vocational-Livelihood, Sports, and Arts and Design.
The results of the NCAE are used to support the national framework on career guidance and as an entry assessment for specific SHS tracks/strands in both public and private schools.
