CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Three individuals lost their lives in an early morning fire on Friday in the City of Meycauayan, Bulacan.

Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Central Luzon Regional Police Director, received an informative message stating that the fire ignited around 1:00 am at Akilan Scrap Trading on 9R Soriano Street, Barangay Libtong. The fire was declared extinguished at approximately 3:28 am.

The fatalities were identified as Artemio Ines Jr., a stay-in production worker; Christina Ababon, also a stay-in production worker; and a seven-year-old girl named Angel Ines.

Arson investigators are currently determining the cause of the fire.
