CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — A Cessna 152 airplane made an emergency landing in a riceland in Barangay Barihan in the City of Malolos on the afternoon of February 10,

The airplane, piloted by Capt. Ysmael Argonza with his student Iñigo Martin, shaken but safe, successfully crash landed the aircraft around 2:30 pm.

Based on the reports submitted to Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the incident occurred during a routine flight from Subic to Plaridel Airport.

When the aircraft was already in the air space of Bulacan it experienced fuel shortage prompting the pilot to execute an emergency landing on a rice field.

Arnedo noted that the immediate action and professionalism demonstrated by Capt. Argonza and his student on the incident. “undoubtedly contributed to the safe landing of the plane without casualty and damage to property .”
