Two dead, one injured in Bocaue motorcycle-truck collision

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Two motorcycle riders were killed and another was injured following a head-on collision with a truck van in Bocaue town on Wednesday.
According to a report submitted to Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, Central Luzon police director, by Col. Franklin Estoro, acting Bulacan police director, the fatalities were identified as Khen Bendanillo, 18, and Marjun Bardaje, 19. The injured rider was identified as John JB Tejamo, 18. All three were residents of Barangay Duhat in Bocaue.
Initial police investigation revealed that the three were riding a red and black Honda TMX motorcycle without a license plate when they collided head-on with an Isuzu Elf van truck bearing license plate RBV 283. The collision occurred on a curved portion of the Duhat-Bunducan Road in Bocaue.
Bendanillo sustained fatal head and body injuries and was declared dead at the scene. Bardaje and Tejamo were transported by rescuers to the Joni Villanueva General Hospital in Bocaue. Bardaje was declared dead on arrival, while Tejamo was admitted for treatment of a fractured left knee.
The truck driver, Jose Ramie Agaton, and his vehicle are currently in the custody of the Bocaue Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
