BLACKPINK nagset ng Guinness World Record bilang most streamed female group sa Spotify

Gumawa ng panibagong record ang sikat na Kpop girl group na Blackpink matapos silang kilalanin bilang “most streamed female group” na may pinakamaraming tagapakinig sa audio streaming application na Spotify. Umabot sa walong bilyong tao ang nakikinig sa kanilang mga kanta.

Pormal itong inanunsyo ng Guinness World Record (GWR) sa kanilang website noong Miyerkules, March 8. Ayon sa kanilang tala- 8,880,030,049 na tao ang nakinig sa mga kanta ng Blackpink sa buong mundo.

Kabilang sa Top 3 most-streamed song ang “How You Like That” na mayroong 746,198,263 streams, sinundan ito ng “Kill This Love” na mayroong 672,084,360, at “DDU-DU DDU-DU” na umabot ng 574,613,362.

Bago pa ito, marami na ring parangal mula sa buong mundo ang nakamit ng Blackpink. Kabilang na rito ang most number of subscribers for a band on YouTube at kauna-unahang K-pop group na nanguna sa UK albums chart.

Maituturing na isa sa pinakamatagumpay na grupo ang BlackPink dahil mula nang ipakilala sila sa publiko noong 2016, sunod-sunod na ang mga award at oportunidad na natanggap nila. Sa katunayan, noong unang inilabas ang single album nila na Square one na may kantang “Whistle” at “Boombayah”, nakapasok na agad sila sa South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart at US Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart.

Matapos na ilabas ang solo ni Lisa na “LALISA” at “Money” noong September 2021, nagtrending agad ito sa social media. Nakakuha ang kanta niyang “LALISA” ng 400 million accumulative streams at ang kantang “Money” naman ay nanguna sa charts ng Malaysia at sa 26 na bansa. Nasungkit din nito ang certified gold sa Poland at Portugal.

Si Jennie Kim naman na face of the group ang kauna-unahang K-Pop female soloist na nakasama sa US iTunes Top 10 nang ilabas ang kanyang kantang “SOLO,” na nakahakot ng 14.6 million views sa isang araw. Sa kasalukuyan, si Jennie ang may highest trending position at ang pinakakilala sa kanilang apat.

Nakatakdang magconcert ang BLACKPINK sa Philippine Arena sa March 25 at 26, 2023 bilang parte ng kanilang “Born Pink World Tour.”
