Daloy ng trapiko inaasahang bibigat sa NLEX sa Biyernes

BOCAUE, Bulacan — Nagpaalala ang NLEX Corporation na posibleng bumigat ang daloy ng trapiko sa loob ng North Luzon Expressway sa bayan na ito sa darating na araw ng Biyernes (Agosto 25) dahil sa pagbubukas ng FIBA Basketball World Cup na gaganapin sa Phippine Arena.

Inaasahan ang pagdagsa ng mga basketball fans na manonood sa nasabing basketball tournament.

Kabilang sa mga paghahanda ng NLEX Corporation upang mapanatili ang kaayusan ng daloy ng trapiko ay:

Pag-deploy ng mahigit 200 traffic personnel at incident response teams sa loob ng Ciudad de Victoria at sa strategic areas sa buong NLEX;

Pag-install ng mga directional road signage upang maging gabay ng mga motoristang pupunta sa Philippine Arena;

Pag-provide ng libreng P2P shuttle services papunta at palabas ng Philippine Arena mula 11:00 ng umaga hanggang 5:00 ng hapon;

Pick up and drop off points sa nasabing shuttle service ay sa PITX Bus Terminal; Mall of Asia Arena; One Ayala Bus Terminal; BGC Market Market Bus Terminal; SM Megamall; Araneta City; Trinoma; SM North; Clover Leaf Ayala Mall Bus Terminal; SM Baliuag; SM Pampanga; at SM Clark

Magsisimulang maghatid ang mga P2P buses pabalik sa iba’t ibang drop off points pagkatapos ng laro ng Gilas (Philippines) vs. Dominican Republic.

Narito ang ilan pang dapat tandaan ng mga manonood upang mas mapabilis ang kanilang biyahe at makaiwas sa aberya.

Ang Ciudad de Victoria Toll Plazas ay 100% RFID kaya hinihikayat ang mga motoristang magpakabit ng Easytrip RFID at siguraduhing may sapat na load bago bumiyahe.

Ang mga gate sa Philippine Arena ay bubuksan ng 12:00 ng hapon at isasara ang lahat ng access papunta dito simula 5:30 ng hapon.

Tanging P2P buses at mga sasakyang may valid vehicle access at parking permits na awtorisado lamang ng FIBA ang papayagang makapasok mula 5:30 ng hapon hanggang sa makalabas ang mga taong nanood ng laro.

Tanging sa mga parking areas sa loob ng Philippine Arena o sa mga additional parking areas sa Bocaue at Sta. Maria bypass roads lamang papayagang pumarada ang mga sasakyan. Bawal ang illegal parking.

Pinapayuhan naman ang mga motoristang papunta sa bayan ng Sta. Maria sa araw na ito na maglaan ng karagdagang oras sa biyahe at dumaan sa mga alternate route kagaya ng Marilao, Bocaue, o Tambubong.
