MAPA, kantang mula sa Filipino boy group na SB19, number 10 sa iTunes Philippines. Trending din sila sa Twitter

Ang Philippine Pop o P-Pop group na SB19 ay naglabas kamakailan ng kanta na nagrank na number sa 10 sa iTunes Philippines. Ang kanta na pinamagatang “MAPA” ay umani ng malawakang suporta hindi lamang sa bansa kundi pati na rin sa iba’t ibang parte ng mundo tulad ng Korea.

Sa dami ng humanga sa kanilang talento, trending din ang grupo sa social media site na Twitter kahapon, June 21.

Sa ilalim ng hashtag na #TheBig10, ibinida ng kanilang lumalaking fanbase ang nakamtang achievement ng grupo.

Kamakailan ay nanalo rin ang isang miyembro ng grupo na si Pablo sa isang malawakang paligsahan sa paggawa ng musika. Ang patimpalak na ito ay tinatawag na Djooky Music Awards.

Noong ika-3 ng Hunyo, gamit ang kanyang opisyal na Twitter account, nagpasalamat ang P-pop idol sa mga nag-organisa ng patimpalak, at sa kanilang mga tagahanga na patuloy ang pagsuporta sa kanilang pang-grupo at indibidwal na aktibidad.

Maliban sa mga bago nilang nakamit na pagkilala, ang boy group na ito ang pinakaunang Filipino boy group na kasama sa nominado sa Billboard Music Awards sa ilalim ng kategoryang Top Social Artist.

Saan nanggaling ang SB19?

Ang P-pop boy group na SB19 ay nag-umpisa noong 2018 pagkatapos ng ShowBT Philippines. Ang grupo ay binubuo nina Josh, Pablo, Stell, Ken, and Justin.

Layunin ng kanilang mga kanta na ipakita sa buong mundo ang galing at sining ng Pinoy Pop.

Ang pangalan ng kanilang fans ay “A’tin” na nangangahulugan na pag-aari o pag-angkin ng bagay, sa lenggwaheng Filipino.

Ang ShowBT Philippines ay ang sangay ng ShowBT Group na nanggaling sa Korea. Ang mga miyembro ng grupo na SB19 ay nagmula sa libo-libong nag-audition para sa kani-kanilang posisyon.

SB19 member profiles:

Pablo/Sejun (leader)

Ang tunay na pangalan ni Pablo o Sejun ay John Paulo Nase. Siya ang leader ng SB19 boy group. Nagmula si Pablo sa Imus, Cavite at nagsisilbing vocalist at main rapper ng grupo. Siya ay ipinanganak noong Setyembre 14, 1994.

Stell

Si Stell o Stellvester Alejo ang buong pangalan, ang may tila “heavenly voice” o mala-anghel na boses sa SB19. Siya ang nagsisilbing main vocalist at lead dancer ng grupo. Nagmula siya sa Lungsod ng Las Piñas. Ipinanganak si Stell noong June 16, 1995.

Ken

Ang tunay na pangalan ni Ken ay Felip John Suason. Siya ang nagsisilbing main dancer, kasama ni Stell, at vocalist. Isinilang siya noong January 12, 1997, at nanggaling sa Cagayan de Oro.

Justin

Justin T. de Dios ang buong pangalan ni Justin. Siya naman ay nanggaling sa Caloocan City at nagsisilbi bilang visual at vocalist ng grupo. Si Justin ang pinakabata sa grupo, at ipinanganak noong July 7, 1998.

Josh

Si Josh o Josh Cullen Santos ay ipinanganak noong October 22, 1993 at nagsisilbi bilang lead rapper, dancer at vocalist ng grupo. Siya ang itinuturing na pinakamalakas ang karisma sa grupo.

Ano ang ibig sabihin ng MAPA?

Ang kanilang panibago at trending na kanta ay alay ng mga P-pop member sa kanilang mga magulang, ayon sa kanilang panayam sa Bandwagon Asia.

Sa kanyang pagpapaliwanag, sinabi ni Pablo na nagsisilbing MAPA ang kanilang mga magulang sa buhay na tinatahak nila ngayon. Dahil daw dito, hindi sila malilihis ng landas o direksyon sa buhay.

Maganda ring bigyan ng pansin na ang MAPA, kung paghihiwalayin, ay tumutukoy sa likas na pagtawag ng mga anak sa kanilang magulang na “Ma” bilang nanay at “Pa” naman sa ama.

“With our mapa–or map–we will never get lost. This time sila naman ang magpapahinga. Kami naman ang magtatrabaho for them,” pahayag ni P-Pop artist Pablo.

Sa kasalukuyan, mapapakinggan ang mga kanta ng SB19 sa iba’t ibang plataporma online. Mayroon silang Youtube channel na may pangalang SB19 Official.
