Progreso sa Caloocan itinampok sa isang audio-video production

Itinampok sa isang mahigit 13-minutong audio-video production (AVP) ang mga nagawang proyekto, naipatupad na programa at naabot na progreso ng Caloocan sa ilalim ng panunungkulan ng mga Malapitan.

Sa pagpresenta ni Mayor Along Malapitan ng AVP ay sinabi niyang, “Panoorin po natin ang malaking pinagbago at inunlad ng Lungsod ng Caloocan sa paglipas ng panahon. Nagsisimula pa lamang po ako, marami pa akong mga plano at pangarap na bibigyan natin ng katuparan. Para sa inyo po ang lahat ng ito, mga Batang Kankaloo!”

Sa pagsisimula ng AVP ay ibinungad ang naluklok na alkalde ng lungsod noong 2013 na si Mayor Oca Malapitan sa gitna ng ginawa niyang mga proyekto at pagdeklara ng kaniyang motto na “Tao ang Una!”

Nagsilbi siyang alkalde hanggang 2022, at ngayon ay nanunungkulan bilang kongresista ng Unang Distrito ng lungsod.

Sa kaniyang panunungkulan, ay nagsimula na anilang magkaroon ng magandang pagbabago sa Caloocan.

Kasunod nito ay ipinakita naman ang kaniyang anak na naging bagong alkalde, si Mayor Along, gayundin ang mga isinagawa niyang proyekto.

Ipinakita sa AVP ang mga proyektong imprastraktura at paggamit ng modernong teknolohiya ni Mayor Along sa lungsod.

Isa rito ay ang mga pinaunlad na mga pasilidad at serbisyong pang-medikal at pangkalusugan sa mga ospital sa pangunguna ng Caloocan City Medical Center (CCMC) at health center gayundin sa bagong itinayong mga super health center. Ipinakita rin ang sariling CT scan machine, mammogram machine at endoscopy machine.

Inasikaso rin ni Mayor Along ang serbisyong edukasyon sa pamamagitan ng pagpapaayos ng mga school buildings at pagpapatayo ng mga bago pang gusali ng paaralan, mga bagong kolehiyo lalo ang College of Engineering at College of Law sa University of Caloocan City (UCC), at pati ang modernisasyon ng education system sa lungsod.

Ipinagmalaki niya ang pagkakamit ng mga graduates ng Caloocan schools ng matataas na passing grades at pagka-puwesto pa ng ilan sa top rank sa mga professional licensure examinations lalo sa bar exam at board exam. Aniya, kaya nang makipagsabayan ng Caloocan sa mga established at malalaking unibersidad sa ibang lungsod.

Isinaayos din at pinaganda ang gusali, pasilidad at serbisyo ng city hall at mga tanggapan ng LGU.

Inasikaso ang pabahay para sa mga maralita, iniangat ang peace and order, pinaigting ang puwersa ng kapulisan at disaster response, nagpatayo ng mga public parks at playgrounds, at pinailawan ang mga kalsada pati mga eskinita.

Ibinida rin ang pagpasok ng malalaking negosyo sa lungsod tulad ng malls, supermarkets, bangko, restaurants, gasoline stations at iba pa na resulta anila ng pagtitiwala ng mga negosyante at investors sa estilo at kalidad ng administrasyong Malapitan.

Ayon sa alkalde, marami nang mga nagawang proyekto at marami pang mga kasunod na isasagawa. Kasama na rito ang mga bagong Legislative Building, Government Center, Hall of Justice, North City Hall, at iba pa.

Sa pagtatapos ng AVP, binigyang-diin ni Mayor Along na mula sa dating reputasyon ng Caloocan na marumi, magulo at kinatatakutan, ay napapansin at natatamasa na ngayon ang progreso.

Aniya, “Malayo na, pero malayo pa. It’s a long road. But I’m glad that we already reached this far in our quest for sustainable progress.”
