Host Bianca Gonzales shared her sentiments on X (formerly Twitter) about the struggles people face during typhoons. She also spoke about the alleged corruption involving politicians and contractors in the country.

“Nakakagalit isipin na pag may matinding sakuna, dali dali tayong nagdodonate ng relief goods, bigay sa fundraising ng kahit konti, volunteer mag-repack… samantalang may milyon-milyon at bilyon-bilyong perang kinurakot mula sa buwis natin na makakatulong sana sa mga nasalantang kababayan,” she wrote.

She ended her post by referencing a placard from the recent EDSA rally: “Ika nga ng placard sa rally, “resilient mo mukha mo.”

The line referred to how Filipinos are often described as resilient, even when they deserve better support and accountability.

In another tweet, Bianca added a reminder: “Keep safe, mga kababayan 🙏🏽.”

The host was recently in Southern Leyte for an adolescent health program, aimed at raising awareness and helping reduce teenage pregnancies in the region.
