Iluminada Roxas Mendoza Memorial High School, masaya sa ibinigay sa kanila ni Mayor Jonjon Villanueva na isang libong arm chairs

“ISANG LIBO, ISANG TUWA! ATING PAARALAN MULING PINAGPALA.”

Ganito inilarawan ng mga teacher at estudyante ng Iluminada Roxas-Mendoza Memorial High School ang kanilang tuwa dahil sa isang libong arm chairs na ibinigay sa kanila ni Bocaue Mayor Jonjon Villanueva at CIBAC Party-list kahapon, February 1. Personal na pinangasiwaan ni Mayor Villanueva ang pagdadala ng mga arm chair sa eskwelahan.

Sa pahayag na inilabas ng pamunuan ng paaralan, pinasalamatan nila ang mga lingkod bayan na palaging tumutulong sa kanila.

“Ating sinalubong ang unang araw ng Pebrero na punong puno ng kasiyahan sa handog na isang libong arm chairs mula sa ating mga butihing nanunungkulan CIBAC Party-List Rep. Bro. Eddie Villanueva, mahal na punongbayan Mayor Jonjon JJV Villanueva Jr. at pangalawang punongbayan Vice Mayor Atty. Sherwin N. Tugna,” ayon sa kanila.

Masaya rin daw ang mga estudyante at guro dahil alam nilang may masasandigan silang mga lider na nanunungkulan.

“Tunay na napakalaking tulong para sa ating mga mag-aaral ang mga handog na armchairs upang mas higit na mapagbuti ang kanilang pag-aaral. Magsisilbi itong paala-ala para sa mga Iluminadians na may sasalo at sasandalan sila sa katauhan ng ating mga lingkod bayan lalo’t para sa kanilang kinabukasan. Maging inspirasyon ito upang lalong magbigay pagpapahalaga sa pagkatuto at maging produktibong Bocaueño sa hinaharap,” dagdag pa nila.

Makikita naman sa mga larawan kung gaano kasaya ang mga teacher at estudyante na makasama at makausap ang kanilang Punong Bayan. Pinagkaguluhan nila si Mayor Jonjon Villanueva at isa-isa silang nagpapicture. Game na game namang nakipagbiruan sa kanila si Mayor JJV.

“Mula po sa lahat ng bumubuo ng Iluminada Roxas Mendoza Memorial High School sa pamumuno ni Sir Jeffrey DC. Basilio Principal II, lahat ng kaguruan, magulang at mag-aaral kami po ay buong pusong nagpapasalamat sa mga handog na kagamitang ito. Asahan po ninyong ito ay aming iingatan at palagiang isasapuso na tanda ito ng inyong pagmamalasakit at pagmamahal sa bawat batang Bocaueño,” pagwawakas ng kanilang pahayag.

Prayoridad ng administrasyon ni Mayor Villanueva ang edukasyon ng mga kabataang Bocaueño kaya sa kasalukuyan, sunod-sunod na ipinapatupad ang iba’t ibang proyekto para dito. Katatapos lang din ng pamamahagi ng financial assistance sa ikalawang batch ng estudyante sa Bocaue.

Noong mga nakaraang termino ni Mayor Villanueva, mahigit limang libong estudyante ang nakapagtapos ng pag-aaral sa ilalim ng kanyang scholarship program. Nagkataon naman na kasama sa mga napagraduate ng alkalde si Jeffrey Basilio, ang kasalukuyang principal ng Iluminada Roxas-Mendoza Memorial High School. Sa mensahe ni Basilio, ibinahagi niya kung paano siya lumapit sa alkalde noong taong 2001 para humingi ng tulong sa kanyang pag-aaral. Agad naman daw na pumayag si Mayor JJV na suportahan siya. Pinapasalamatan at tinatanaw daw niyang utang na loob ang tulong na ibinigay sa kanya ng Punong Bayan. Marami sa mga tinaguriang Scholar ni Mayor Jonjon Villanueva ang nakatapos sa pag-aaral at nagtagumpay sa buhay.
