Mahigit kalahating milyong halaga ng droga, nalambat sa dalawang araw na anti-drug operation sa Bulacan

Sa pahayag na inilabas ng Bulacan Police Provincial Office, tinatayang P580,000 ang halaga ng iligal na drogang nasamsam sa agresibong operasyon ng pulisya sa magkakaibang lugar sa Bulacan noong September 16 at 17.

Noong September 16, tinatayang P274,000 ang halaga ng illegal drugs na nakumpiska. Nasakote rin ang 29 na pinaghihinalaang pusher.

Sa Pinagbakahan, Malolos, nahuli diumano si Jomar Abarrondo sa isang buy-bust operation. Nakuha raw mula sa kanya ang suspected dried marijuana leaves na tinatayang P120,000 ang halaga.

Sa ikinasang sunod-sunod na anti-illegal drugs operation, nalambat ng mga operatiba ng Station Drug Enforcement Units ng Bulacan Police ang 28 na suspek. Narekober din diumano mula sa kanila ang P144,608 na halaga ng pinaghihinalaang shabu at P10,156 na halaga ng suspected marijuana, at mga marked money.

Noong September 17 naman, tinatayang P306,000 ang kabuuang halaga ng drogang nakuha mula sa apat na suspek sa isang joint anti-illegal drugs operation sa Baliwag, Bulacan.

Sa pinagsamang pwersa ng Special Operations Unit (SOU) 8 ng PNP Drug Enforcement Group (DEG) bilang lead unit, at ng Baliwag police, nalansag ang ilang pinaghihinalaang drug den o pugad ng iligal na droga sa Barangay Poblacion, Baliwag, Bulacan. Naganap ang paglusob ng mga otoridad kahapon ng alas-singko y medya ng umaga, September 17.

Arestado sina Noel Cayetano, Rolando Perez, Luisito Gregorio at Jaime Perez, na residente ng Barangay Poblacion.

Narekober diumano sa kanila ang apat na small size sachet at limang medium size sachet ng pinaghihinalaang shabu, drug paraphernalia at marked money.

Paliwanag pa ng pulisya, ipinapakita ng mga matagumpay na joint operation ang kanilang maigting na kampanya laban sa ipinagbabawal na droga at pinalakas na intelligence capabilities.
