Tsuper ng jeep nasawi matapos atakihin sa puso habang nagmamaneho

“Hindi ko na kaya,” ito ang mga huling salita na binitawan ni Tatay Pepe Rollon, 55 taong gulang mula sa Alfonso, Cavite bago malagutan ng hininga habang namamasada sa kahabaan ng Mahogany Road, Tagaytay.

Hindi inakala ni Anne Solomon, isa sa mga pasahero ni Tatay Pepe, na ang nakasanayan niyang pagbiyahe papasok ng trabaho ay mauuwi sa isang malungkot na pangyayari.

Nag-alala raw si Anne at ang iba pang sakay ng dyip dahil sa nangyari kay Tatay Pepe. Nanginginig, nangingitim at naihi na raw si tatay. Wala raw magawa si Anne kundi humingi ng tulong at manalangin na maging ligtas si Tatay Pepe.

Kaagad naman daw na naisugod sa ospital si tatay sa tulong ng isa ring driver ng jeep at Barangay Patrol na nasa lugar ng insidente.

Sa kasamaang palad, dead on arrival na si Tatay Pepe ayon umano sa kanyang pamilya.

Malungkot daw si Anne sa nangyari kay Tatay Pepe at hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin daw siya makapaniwala sa nangyari.

“Traumatized po ako. Uminom po ako para makatulog pero affected po ako. What if Tatay ko po yun? Also po what if hindi kami naitabi ng safe ni Tatay Pepe mag-birthday po ako ng 23,” pahayag ni Anne.

Malaki rin ang pasasalamat niya dahil ginawa ni Tatay Pepe ang makakaya upang ihinto ang dyip at hindi mapahamak ang iba pang pasahero.

Matapos ibahagi ni Anne sa kanyang Facebook post ang pangyayari, inulan ito ng pakikiramay mula sa mga netizen para sa naulilang pamilya ni tatay.

“Condolence po sa family. Saludo po ako sa mga PUV drivers. Salamat po sa sakripisyo,” komento ni Steve Nazareno.

“Siguro di na sya nakakapag pahinga ng maayos nanghihinayang sa oras na matao sa hirap kasi talaga ng kitaan ngayon. Condolence po sa Family,” sabi ni Patrick Dimaranan.
