2 patay sa karambola ng 4 na sasakyan sa bayan ng Pulilan

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Dalawang teenager na babae ang nasawi matapos na madamay sa karambola ng apat na sasakyan sa bayan ng Pulilan nitong araw ng Lunes.

Base sa ulat na nakarating kay Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police director, ang karambola ng mga sasakyan ay naganap sa Pulilan-Baliwag Bypass Road, Barangay Dulong Malabon sa nasabing bayan bandang 1:23 ng hapon.

Nahagip ng isa sa mga sasakyan sina Erica Lay Tapang, 14 taong gulang at Cristina Caparas, 16 taong gulang at pawang residente ng Barangay Dulong Malabon sa bayan ng Pulilan na naglalakad sa nasabing Bypass Road na naging sanhi ng kanilang kamatayan.

Base sa inisyal na imbestigasyon, ang mga sangkot na sasakyan ay kinabibilangan ng isang Honda TMX tricycle na minamaneho ni RJ Reyes na may lulan na tatlong pasahero; isang puting Hino passenger van na may plakang NBD 9398 na minamaneho ni Marvin Caracter; isang Isuzu truck na may plakang UGG 780 na minamaneho ni Adrian Tapang na pawang binabagtas ang Pulilan- Baliwag Bypass Road mula Barangay Tibag sa bayan ng Pulilan papunta sa Lungsod ng Baliwag at isang puting Honda Brio hatchback na may plakang ABJ 2935 na minamaneho ni Pascual Carillo na bumabagtas mula sa kabilang direksyon.

Napag-alaman na tumigil ang tricycle para kumaliwa sa nasabing kalsada kaya ang nasa likuran nito na passenger van ay tumigil din ngunit ang kasunod nito na humaharurot na Isuzu truck ay bumangga sa likuran nito na bumangga naman sa tricycle para matulak sa kabilang linya ng kalsada at nahagip naman ng Honda Brio na nakatama naman sa dalawang nasawi.

Nagawa pang isugod ang dalawang teenager sa mga hospital na Our Lady of Mercy Hospital at Bulacan Medical Center kung saan sila ay binawian ng buhay.

Inaalam pa ng mga imbestigador ang mga pangalan ng mga sugatan na isinugod sa Bulacan Medical Center at kung ano ang kanilang kalagayan.

Si Carillo naman ay nasa kustodiya ng Pulilan Municipal Police Station.
