National Clean-up day inilunsad; Mega Job Fair ng PESO; Sidewalk clearing operations isinagawa

Balita sa Caloocan ngayong linggo:

  • Mga barangay sa Caloocan nakibahagi sa paglulunsad ng Sep. 16 National Clean-up Day
  • Mahigit 100 na trabaho inialok sa Mega Job Fair ng Caloocan PESO
  • Mga bangketa at paligid ng mga pamilihan sa lungsod isinaayos

Aktibong nakibahagi ang mga barangay ng Caloocan sa paglulunsad ng National Weekly Clean-up day na tinaguriang Barangay at Kalinisan Day o BarKaDa nitong September 16.

Ang aktibidad ay alinsunod sa memorandum circular ni Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos na nag-aatas sa National Barangay Operations Office (NBOO) na tiyakin ang pakikiisa ng lahat ng 42,027 mga barangay sa buong bansa.

May temang “Buhayin ang diwa ng bayanihan; Mag-volunteer tayong lahat para sa kalinisan,” ipinanawagan ng circular sa lahat ng mga opisyal ng barangay na hikayatin ang iba’t-ibang sektor, grupo at ang lahat ng mga residente sa kanilang nasasakupang lugar na makiisa sa lingguhang paglilinis ng kapaligiran.

“Halina’t makiisa, halina’t maki-BarKaDa… Magtulong-tulong tayong linisin ang ating mga pamayanan para sa mas maayos at ligtas na kapaligiran,” sabi ni Sec. Abalos.

Kasama sa lilinisin ay ang 29 na pangunahing estero na nasa Caloocan, Maynila, Quezon City, Pasig, Las Piñas, Mandaluyong, San Juan, at Pasay.

Samantala, mahigit 100 na trabaho ang inialok sa Mega Job Fair na inorganisa ng Caloocan Public Employment Service Office (PESO) at ginanap sa SM City Grand Central, sa lungsod ng Caloocan.

Kabilang sa mga nag-alok ng trabaho ay ang Binondo Food Corporation, Capitol Steel Corp., Concentrix, D’Jobsite Gen. Services Inc., EEI Corp. at marami pang iba na naghayag ng job opening para sa HR Supervisor, Warehouse Checker, Customer Service Advisory, Admin Staff at iba pa.

Sa iba pang balita, naglunsad ng malawakang sidewalk clearing operations o paglilinis at pagsasaayos sa mga bangketa sa paligid ng mga palengke at iba pang lugar sa Caloocan ang Public Safety and Traffic Management Department (PSTMD).

Layunin nitong mapaluwag ang daloy ng trapiko sa lugar at tiyakin ang kalinisan at kaayusan ng mga bangketa na nilalakaran ng publiko.
