Ruta ng MMFF parade sa CAMANAVA; Christmas decor ng lungsod; Dating pulis arestado

Nag-abiso sa publiko ang Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) hinggil sa pangangasiwa ng daloy ng trapiko sa area ng CAMANAVA (Caloocan-Malabon-Navotas-Valenzuela) kaugnay ng ruta ng gaganaping 49th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Parade of Stars sa Disyembre 16. Inaasahang dadagsain ito ng libo-libong katao na manonood sa parada at babati sa mga artista.

Tampok sa parada ang mga decorated floats na may sakay na mga artista ng sampung festival entry films na: “A Family of 2 (A Mother and Son Story), (K)Ampon, Penduko, Rewind, Becky and Badette, Broken Heart’s Trip, Firefly, GomBurZa, Mallari, at When I Met You in Tokyo.”

Ayon sa MMDA, pansamantalang isasara sa mga sasakyan ang ilang kalye at lugar sa apat na lungsod na pagdadausan ng tinatayang hindi bababa sa tatlong oras na parada na magsisimula sa Navotas Centennial Park, dadaan sa 8.7 kilometro ng kalsada sa mga susing lugar ng apat na lungssod, at magtatapos sa Valenzuela People’s Park.

Ang Monumento Circle sa Caloocan ang isa sa mga lugar na inaasahang dadagsain ng mga manonood sa parada.

Naghanda naman ang ahensya ng mga alternatibong madadaanan ng mga sasakyan.

Ang malaking aktibidad na ito ay masusi umanong pinag-aralan at pinag-usapan ng MMDA, mga LGU ng Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, at Valenzuela, Philippine National Police (PNP), Office of Civil Defense-NCR (OCD NCR), at iba pa upang matiyak ang maayos na daloy ng trapiko at ang kaligtasan ng mga kalahok at manonood sa parada.

Sa iba pang balita, nagliwanag ang city hall gayundin ang kapaligiran nito at ang iba pang susing lugar sa lungsod kasunod ng opisyal na pagpapailaw o switch on ng mga Christmas lights.

Kabilang sa pinailawan at nilagyan ng pamaskong dekorasyon ang Commercial Complex, City Hall (South);

Caloocan Sports Complex sa Bagumbong; Plaza Rizal (harap ng San Roque Cathedral); Monumento Circle; at People’s Park, City Hall (South).

Nagdaos din ng programa at mini-concert tampok ang mga banda at performers na South Border, The Verb, Ms. Elire Ca?a Dakis, at ang local drum and lyre band.

Ayon sa lokal na pamahalaan, ang aktibidad ay hudyat at simbolo ng mapayapa, masaya at masaganang Kapaskuhan sa lungsod.

Inimbitahan din ng LGU ang publiko na panoorin ang Christmas Light Show sa Caloocan City Hall Building – South mula sa December 10 hanggang December 23, 2023, simula 7:00 p.m. hanggang 10:00 p.m., kada 30 minutos.

Samantala, arestado sa Caloocan ang isang dating pulis na limang taong nagtago sa batas matapos umanong mapatay sa paulit-ulit na pagsaksak ang kapuwa niya pulis na nakaalitan niya sa sugal sa baraha.

Ayon kay Northern Police District (NPD) Director, Brigadier General Rizalito Gapas, ang manhunt operation at pagsilbi ng warrant of arrest laban sa akusadong si Alyas Manolito ay isinagawa ng NPD District Special Operations Unit (NPD DSOU), sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa NPD-District Investigation and Detection Unit (NPD-DID), at Northern NCR Maritime Station, Regional Maritime Unit (RMU).

Sa naturang operasyon na pinangunahan nina Police Major Marvin Villanueva, PSSg Joseph Inocencio, PSSg John Peterson Balanan, PCpl Jayson Dela Cruz, Pat Jerome Belasio, Pat Jaworski Que, PSSg Darius P Santiago, at PCpl Fernando S Cayetano Jr. ay naaresto sa Barangay 28 ang akusado na residente rin sa lungsod.

Si Alyas Manolito ay dati umanong operatiba ng Police Regional Office (PRO)-4A pero na-dismiss sa serbisyo dahil sa pagiging AWOL.

Inisyuhan siya ng Regional Trial Court ng Caloocan ng warrant of arrest dahil sa kasong homicide.
