PDEA seizes P3.4M worth of shabu in drug stings in Caloocan City
Mon Lazaro January 6, 2024 at 07:33 PMCALOOCAN CITY – A drug suspect with approximately 500 grams of suspected shabu worth P3.4 million was arrested in a drug sting around 2:00 pm in Barangay 162, Sta. Quiteria in this city on Saturday (January 6).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Central Luzon office identified the suspect as William Isanan believed to be involved in the bulk distribution of shabu in Caloocan and nearby towns of Bulacan.
Recovered from the suspect’s possession were three transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 500 grams of shabu with a street value of P3,400,000 and the marked money.
The operation was conducted by joint operatives of PDEA Aurora Provincial Office, PDEA-3 RSET, and PDEA North District Office.
A charge for violation of section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against the arrested suspects, the PDEA report added.
