Reggie Vizmanos December 20, 2023 at 04:38 PM

The Philippines Australia Union Link sends its solidarity to you on your militant action against the so-called Public Utitlity Vehicle Modernization Program which aims to deprive you of your jobs and incomes and deprive the Filipino people of low-cost and accessible public transport service.”

Ayon sa ITF, “Solidarity with the jeepney drivers of Piston who today renew their strike in protest against unfair vehicle phaseout plans. Just transition plans must be worker led and have economic and social justice at their heart.”

Gayundin ang National Union of Rail Maritime and Transport Workers – UK na nagsabing, “The new conditions set for becoming an operator, with the very high costs involved, will put public transport into the hands of wealthy private corporations while jeepney drivers will be thrown into poverty and unemployment.”
