394 fugitives arrested in Central Luzon in first 20 Days of 2026

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Central Luzon police operatives arrested a total of 394 fugitives in the first 20 days of 2026.
Records from the regional police office showed that those apprehended between January 1 and January 20 included 67 Top Ten Most Wanted Persons (TTMWP), 52 Most Wanted Persons (MWP), and 275 Other Wanted Persons (OWP).
Of the 67 TTMWP arrested, 10 were listed at the regional level, 39 at the provincial and highly urbanized city level, and 18 at the municipal level.
Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., Central Luzon police director, said, “These arrests show that our tracker teams remain focused and persistent. We continue to deny fugitives the chance to hide and evade justice,” and added that timely information-sharing and coordination remain critical to successful manhunt operations.
