CITY OF MALOLOS — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Bulacan announced on April 1 that prices of basic and prime commodities in the province remain steady.
Despite increases in oil prices, DTI-Bulacan reported that essential goods under its jurisdiction remain compliant with, and in many cases below, the prevailing suggested retail prices (SRP).
The agency noted that this indicates retailers and distributors continue to adhere to fair pricing practices, safeguarding consumer welfare amid external economic pressures.
It also cited that the supply of basic and prime commodities remains sufficient and stable, with no significant disruptions observed during the inspection period.
